Education and Background
I have a BA in Child Development from Tufts University, an EdM (Master of Education) from Harvard University, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oregon.
I completed a predoctoral internship with the Stanford University Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Children's Health Council in Palo Alto, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Psychiatry. I have provided clinical services in a number of different settings, including academic medical centers, university clinics, community mental health agencies, research organizations, and schools.
I am formerly an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF, where I worked within the UCSF Child Trauma Research Program (Division of Infant, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry). I co-developed an intervention for families experiencing high levels of stress and trauma that is being disseminated through UCSF and the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University.
I have been in private practice since 2014, serving clients in San Francisco and the peninsula. I offer both in-person appointments as well as telehealth appointments for California clients.
